When I saw this video play at the 2010 Animal Acres Gala, I knew they had struck gold. Between the powerful but gentle (don’t be scared away by the dead calf in the freeze frame, that’s not representative of the video) images and the perfect music selection, somehow they pulled at my heartstrings in a way that left me goosebumpy for at least 20 minutes. We all know how easy it is to pull my heartstrings, but this was different. I’ve been craving seeing this again and I’m SO excited that they finally posted it. This one is a winner, and it makes me so proud to be a part of Animal Acres and the compassionate and necessary work that they do.
Okay, now I’m crying. But most of them are tears of joy.
